Limited production models we typically do not support / cater to.
That said, the M4CS is just a different box code from the normal variants so the existing flash should be portable to the application. The end power results would be the same but the delta would be less given the slightly higher baseline. |

Flashed a M4 just last week, looking to get him on the dyno soon.

Did you have Dinantronics before the flash? If so what stage?

Got it, so did you get a stage one, and can you tell the difference. I have a stage one with intake, thinking off upgrading to the stage 2 flash.

I had the Dinan flash and heat exchanger installed on my 2018 M4. Took it to the track a week later, and it ran great during the first session. On the second session it soon went into limp mode and the check engine light came on. Cleared the codes with a scanner, but the check engine light would not go out and it stayed in limp mode. The significant code stated "Synchronisation Process for FlexRay Failed" code CD4827. A lot of time and money wasted.

My local dealer who is Dinan authorized would not install the flash. They said something about a compatibility issue and sometimes had to be returned. The installer Dinan recommended was Elite Motorsports on Long Island. They didn't mention this issue. The car seemed to drive fine in normal driving. I did not notice much of a difference when in Efficient mode. There was in Sport+ mode though, at least for about 30 minutes.

Yikes. It's stories like this that make me lean towards never tuning my M4. Just too much to go wrong and too big of a bill.
