Extended warranty?

My 2015 F80 came off warranty a few months ago. I've had an ongoing issue with random warning lights coming on when going over bumps, or when it rains hard. It has been in the shop fir this issue a ton of times, and I finally thought BMW Portland had it solved last year. It rained hard last week, and suddenly in the middle of a clear road the pedestrian warning and emergency braking came on. All the codes clear as soon as I turn off the car.

I was planning on dumping it, but it's paid off, in otherwise perfect condition, and would prefer to hold it at least until the G80 is released. I'm pretty sure I can't trust it without warranty coverage.

Now that the original warranty has expired, is an extended BMW warranty still possible? If not, are there any other warranties worth considering?

I am not an expert on warranties but our team is, you can contact them here if you like

if I had to guess I would assume you would not be able get a ext from BMW you would have to look into 3rd party.

I'm in the market for a used M3 in the near future and if I were to pick up a car that's off the factory warranty what are my realistic options for a third-party warranty or should I focus on something that is CPO and get it extended through the dealer?

I understand that once the factory warranty expires, a factory extended warranty is unavailable.

Warranties won't cover existing condition.
