I chose Bellevue mostly because I have known an employee there (Danneedabema) for more than a decade (old school bmw group). He said to talk to Dave Skipworth and I did and he was great. I actually wanted to order an individual interior for the M4 but they wanted over $9000 for that. True story. I came in, got an allocation for the next week, ordered just about everything except parking assist and CCB (also not the concierge). On the boat now, get it in a couple weeks.
Kevin at Northwest and Karl at Seattle are great guys. I have friends that purchased from both. Most dealers will give you 2% off just for asking. 3% is a conversation. 4% might be pretty difficult but I am sure there are people on here that got an even better deal. Maybe I should respect money more, but if I did I wouldn't be buying new |

I have no interest in paying MSRP. I am all about ED invoice + profit. But then we have enough airheads paying full price for these cars........

I just ordered my SS M4 from Bellevue. This is my second car from Bellevue (first one being M235i which I traded in). Didn't get the best rates for the M235i last year, but that's because I was new to leasing and did not do my homework. For the M4, I got 6.2% off MSRP (~500 over invoice). The MF could have been better (0.00149) but I am still not that good at hustling for the best rates
I dealt with Jason Leca for both cars. Nice guy all around -- easy to work with, friendly and very trustable. Very helpful. I don't know his Bimmerpost handle, but I will post here once I find out. In contrast, Seattle's rep didn't seem to give a damn that I wanted to get a car when I shopped for the M235i. But I had a more experienced, much nicer guy this time. He was pleasant to work with, but their deal was not even close to what Bellevue offered me. Trade in value that Seattle offered me for my M235i was also around 1500 lower than what Bellevue did. I live about 12 minutes from BMW Bellevue but I drove right past them to buy my M4 at BMW Seattle. I know that sounds a little harsh but I just have had real difficulties with service with them (based on my experiences with my E90). I don't know if they are overloaded or what - but I just have issues with calls not being returned, asking to have the car for an entire day when it's really a 90 minute job you can wait for, etc. I've found Seattle to be far easier to do business with. As always, your mileage may vary...

I have heard good at all 3 dealers. Kevin (Scottish guy) in Fife, Dave Skipworth (Bellevue) and Karl (forgot) in Seattle. After not really wanting to deal with a large non-local company I bit the bullet and went to Bellevue anyway since it is close. I have generally had great service for the last 7 years although I went in rarely. I picked Dave because a fellow bimmer guy knew him well and works with him and it was a great experience. I can't speak for discounts except to say, I don't see why you should have to pay full MSRP. However 6.2% seems pretty high for a discount on an M4, so you may want to talk to that guy first.
Between me and my friends we are at 6 bmw's from Bellevue 1 from fife and 1 from seattle. All good experiences. Maybe this is normal but Bellevue gave me a full tank of gas and when I picked up my plates a month later they gave me another tank and a wash of course and asked if they wanted me to install the plates (I said no...and I only installed the rear plate ). There were some other perks in the parts department etc. Anyway, they are all pretty good experiences. |

Yes it clearly is.
It roughly equates to a 3% interest rate. He did well as he got about 8% discount.

Has anyone been able to test drive a manual f8X? I am really torn between DCT and MT and really want to experience the difference having driven a DCT m4 before.
My previous car a 135i was a manual but my current 335 is an 8spd which i really enjoy for daily commuting. My lease is up in 8 months and the m4 would a daily driver. Would a manual be too aggressive for a commuter? |

I ordered my 2016 M3 in June, within a week of the 2016 price guide coming out. I sent an email to Seattle, Bellevue, Portland, and Kuni saying I want Invoice + $2k. Seattle said they aren't doing discounts. Portland and Kuni both agreed to my deal. Day before I went to Portland to place my order, I stopped by Bellevue in person (never got an email response) and was told they are only doing MSRP.
I ended up going with Portland because they had an allocation and Kuni did not. Final deal (buying, not leasing) was Invoice + $2000 + $75 (doc fee) + $749 (non-taxable fee -- I need to figure out what this is) - $1500 (Corporate Fleet Discount) - $500 (BMW CCA) = Invoice + $824. Yea I couldn't get any deals out of the dealers around Seattle and Bellevue..
So I find a dealer who have allocation and willing to do individual order with invoice price. BMW Seattle tried to keep me and tried to price match, but after they saw the agree terms, they gave up lol

If I was to do it over, I would have went to Portland. I heard great deals there. Local dealers can't even touch.

I ended up going with Portland as well. Bellevue was close, but the allocation was spotty when I ordered and wouldn't match the Portland offer; Seattle wasn't anywhere close.
This was for a F82. |

BMW Seattle has been a great place for me to get mine serviced. I've had great customer service from the service department. When my car was serviced, I went to look at the 335 wagons. The man was more than rude, didn't care for anything I said until he told me a 335 is too much for me, and I asked him what he thinks I drive now. "you're Lups" "I am." "well get back to me, please miss" Wellll I didn't. There is one enthusiast in their sales crew, and with him I get along great. I'm easily spotted from any M crew, but anyone who gives me shit or wants me to pay extra for the privilege of being their client? No.

Lup's - Based upon your vast knowledge of this vehicle do you know of any local shop's that have worked on them (coding, suspension, misc. tuning) . . .
I have dealt with most of the regional shops with past cars, but no one has touched the M4 yet |
