Divexxtreme from 6speedonline.com, who really invented the 60-130 Vbox measurement years ago, has reviewed thousands and he will concur slope is not always the biggest factor either. That slope is very reasonable, it's virtually impossible to find a location with a perfectly flat road anyway.

OP, solid time, but I'd post up a 60-130MPH graph / time, that is the general speed of measurement here. Also please feel free to add it to this sticky, eventually we will have one in the F8X M3/M4 forum section as well.

60-130 7.9, however this is on the old tyre setup which had huge amounts of wheelspin, the new setup is still to be tested on vbox

Why do you have a jb4 if you have a proper tune?

I can use the jb4 to adjust boost anytime anywhere, just adds a whole load of flexibility, I'm also using the jb4 to adjust oem exhaust flap

7.9 is solid, great job! I'll put this on the list, which as I said will eventually make it over to this section of the forum as well. What exactly are the mods and fuel you were running?

We format it like this -

6.35 - Terry@BMS/ F80 M3 DCT / JB4 / Pure S2 Turbos / Dodson CP/ FBO / 97 Octane + WM / 3 shifts

So after a quick tyre swap and some further testing I am now running consecutive 6.6sec runs with less slope, wheelspin still stopping to pull a low 6, here's some times from today's testing..

Did you run this with MDM on? the MPH slope isnt very clean, wheel spin past 100mph/160KPH in 4th gear would a lot more power than this.(unless you are running some crap tires) I usually only see that when the car is being cut back/clutch slip or Vbox has a poor signal.

Do you have a log of rear wheel speed? Its possible the clutches are starting to slip...to fully spin from 120mph -130mph(in 0015 run) would require a lot more than 600hp, or some 195wide tires.

What boost level is this?

can you send a 100-200 DBN file the link below, I want to see how Vbox matched the inferred Horsepower curve. http://www.vboxdyno.com/

Thanks for posting the Vbox data... I was starting to think I was the only one who owned one.

I hope its not slipping.

Any chance you can get a 100mph-150mph run? I want to see how it compares.

keep sharing data, love it.

MDM was on due to huge amounts of wheel spin, I recently swapped to Pirelli Corsa tyres but they are absolutely useless, so I've just ordered some R888R tyres, with MDM on I can just about pull away in third but you can feel the throttle is being restricted due to poor traction, ideally need to run with Dsc off and stickier tyres👍

Boost is set at around 24-25psi but will double check with Halim, there's definitely zero clutch slip it's all down to the poor traction! I haven't tried 100-150mph yet but will give it a go soon 👍 We are definitely over 600bhp at the flywheel according to the vbox horsepower calculations on every run however the car has not been run on a dyno as I'm more interested in vbox figures 😜

Are they hard to come by over there? I recall hearing from a buddy over there that finding one is not so easy.
