It's not a significant difference. It's free to list a car on C&B, and BaT charges $99. The buyer pays 4.5% up to $4500 on C&B and 5% up to $5000 on BaT (unless something has changed recently).

BaT is 5% up to $7500 now, if I am not mistaken.

Doesn’t really cost anything to list. It’s the buyer that ends up paying 4-5% of the sale price.

You're right and they've also added a minimum buyer's fee which I don't think C&B has -- from BaT web site just now: "If you win an auction, we charge 5% of the final bid price on top of the winning bid. The minimum fee is $250, and the maximum fee is capped at $7,500."

What’s your opinion on this example? It’s only 40 miles away from me, so I might check it out in person first, before paying for a PPI.
Looks stock for the most part, except lowered for certain.

If it was clean, I would have checked it out myself. Based on the info via VINWiki and checking on IG, I’d personally pass. Been modified and looks like it’s been tracked.
