OK, now that the destination charges are revealed, how about the gas guzzler tax? Any news about that?

Those two terms are probably being used interchangeably because they are essentially the same thing. I don't think anybody is referring to the adaptive suspension on a normal F30/32 3-Series. The M-Dynamic Dampers are what they call the adaptive system for the ///M cars.

Looks like its a proactive adapting system, where as the M dynamic just has particular settings.

Does it really lower the new M3/4 10mm? I hope it does, because it will make me want the option

I don't want any additional steering options though. I hope this doesn't apply to the new M.

Adaptive M suspension.

The optional Adaptive M suspension provides further reinforcement for the dynamic driving characteristics of the new BMW 3 Series Sedan and exploits their visual effect to the full, without comprising in any way on comfort.

In the optional Adaptive M suspension, a lowering of the chassis by ten millimetres and electronically controlled dampers result in increased agility.* During the journey, sensors continuously measure data and control the shock absorber valves in the Adaptive M suspension according to the driving situation and road profile. This takes place for each wheel individually so that optimum road holding is guaranteed at all times.

An electronic control unit processes information on wheel, lateral and longitudinal acceleration, on vehicle speed as well as on steering wheel position in order to adapt the damper parameters to the road profile and driving situation. In addition to this, the driver can individually alter the setting of the suspension to increase comfort or sporting character via the Driving Experience Control.

* No lowering for xDrive models.

Per my link it seems a bit different.

We need answers

Comfort Access should really be a stand alone option. This is frustrating.

Right but the OP is confused because "M-Dynamic Dampers" are listed as standard but "Adaptive M Suspension" is listed as an option.

Also..I dont see anything about Heads Up Display AND.. We still dont know what "Shadowline Exterior trim" is? Is it the matte version or the shiny?

This thing just created a bunch more questions rather than answers!

That's really unfortunate if it's true. I wanted the full leather and not most of the other stuff they throw in the exec package.

HUD is in executive package - The OP shows that

Shadowline is the Matte trim...at least according to BMWs of past

I noticed Extended is still a stand alone, and Full is included in the exec package.

I hope this is simply a mixup of terms, if you look at the military price guide there was similar language

Full $950 - (no charge with exec pkg)
Extended $2000 - ($1,100 with exec pkg)

Ahhhh, now I see, and now I'm utterly confused as well.

I am glad to see a nice list of standard equipment though. The only options that I'll spec on my car are the power rear/manual side sunshades, Enhanced USB/Smartphone, and extended leather.......the Executive Package covers everything else that I want.

I'll opt for Full, Extended, whatever.....to get the leather dash, etc. I love the look of it.

My thoughts as well - I don't think this is correct. I know the 5-series has the gorgeous 10.2" screen, but would think the F80 would match the F30's 8.8".

Garage List
2015 BMW X3 28i  [0.00]
2011 BMW 135i  [0.00]
2016 BMW M3  [0.00]
The std features look great. Could be very happy ordering a bare bones car, actually that leaves room in the budget for individual paint

Alcantara headliner as standard? Do the cars at the shows have that? I don't think that showed up on my order.
