Question about dealership service and jb4

So I’ve never really thought about this but every time you take your car to the dealership they reset your cars computer. If I have my jb4 connected the whole time when they go to reflash the car will this mess with the jb4? Just had my car in for an oil change and forgot about having my car still connected and on map 2 when I brought it in. Any thoughts? Thanks.

I don't see that they would have any reason to dig deep? Unless you are there for an engine related problem....I wouldn't worry about it.

Why would they "reset" your computer? Unless something is wrong the dealership wont reflash your car for no reason.

Well for example, when I got back into it my auto start/stop was reset and they have to reset all of the “maintenance interval” mileages. Not sure if by doing so they have to plug into the dme to do so.

They don't HAVE to, it can be done from the instrument panel
