You must be seeing pretty poor installs to make this statement!?

PPF is a must!!!

2015 GTI Traded in at 72,000 (PPF)
You don't have to tell me! I'm a firm believer in PPF all the things. Car looks great btw.

Thanks guys am going to go ahead with PPF with suntek ultra and then ceramic coat the car myself

My only concern is the yellowing - even the shop themselves say that slight yellowing may be inevitable because it is a white car

Do worry yellowing doesn’t happen for years; just take care of the car and re do the film later as needed. High end xpel/suntek film should carry a warranty either way.

I spent $4K AUD getting a full paint correction and detail, ceramic coating and PPF on front bumper, bonnet, wings, sills and boot load area. It's a daily and PPF will ward off most of the rock chips and ceramic coating makes it easier to clean.

Does it look as good close up as naked paint? No. Does it look good when it's clean with a coat of high gloss sealant? Yes and I can use it everyday without panicking about little scuffs and scratches.
