Radar detector issue

Hello guys so I'm having a issue, with my V1 gen2 radar on my F80 M3 2018.

So I've been looking up on line and I bought on eBay the "mirror cable tap" to tap into our mirrors for the car but for some freaking reason the radar keep shooting a "E".

Now I looked up the videos, and I search and all I found was Tommy L Garage, but it seems that he doesn't have the camera on the bottom of his mirror.(he has a blackview) aftermarket. I have the factory camera. Now maybe I did something wrong? or the gen2 has this issues were it spots or picks up the camera and throw a code idk but it's not helping me.

When I plug into my other car with the cig lighter, it works perfect?????

I tapped in the red cable into the red and white cable & the black one I tapped into the brown one..idk if I did it wrong or there's something different from the 17- 18 years with the mirror's.
