This doesn't look too aggressive compared to the regular 3 series. (Compared to E46 3 series vs. E46 M3 or E90 3 series vs. E90 M3).
Maybe i looked at the F80 M3 camo spy shots too much over this ~1yr~1.5yr period.

When is this car going to be revealed? Does anyone have an idea of when we might see the M3 Concept?

I don't think BMW has a warehouse in MDR, but yes, their prototypes do zip through that area a lot. I've seen almost every M-car mule drive through there in the last 11 years, as well as several non-M mules. I'm pretty sure they undock at Point Hueneme and then make their way down the coast.

That looks like a normal F30 trunk to me.

You can catch up on the latest M3/M4 info @ http://www.bimmerpost.com/m3/f80m3/

Concept coming to either Shanghai Show at the end of this month or at Frankfurt show in September.

The bystanders are probably thinking, "why would you put such ugly vinyl on a car?" lol. Thats what everyone around me say when they catch me looking at spyshots.

I just don't understand why these test drivers get so upset when they see people taking pictures of the car. They are driving a camouflaged prototype in public and should expect to draw attention. Driving like an aggressive jack-ass to avoid the cameras will only draw more attention.

Maybe they're all en route to the hot weather testing facility here in the states.

Same car, or at least same plate number in both threads (http://www.f30post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=724049).

Nice work Mike.

Why the heck would they decide to test in LA?! Seems like a bad decision unless they were looking for the publicity...

west coast=best coast. jk haha. i see a lot of test mules on the 405 freeway, mostly benz. i remember seeing the f30 in 2011 in rush hour traffic. was going to pull out camera phone but a cop was right behind me. i could have taken at least 50 pictures of all angles of the car. either way its pretty cool seeing these test mules in my backyard.

I'm gonna get crucified for saying this but...

...looks like the car has hemorrhoids. The rear bumper extends soooo far off the back of the car. I will definitely be holding onto my e90...

Shitty roads and it's their closest port (BMW has docking facilities in New Jersey and Point Hueneme, CA) to Death Valley, where they perform their hot-weather testing would be my guess.

Nice shots. Adding the supercharger sealed the deal for me owning my car for the next 5 years. In 2018, I'll be looking for a 2016 M4 Gran Coupe.
