You're too kind and underestimate my ability to F things up! I thought I'd messed up so bad I would have to consider the car a write off. My instrument cluster & NBT weren't working, and I was getting all sorts of weird errors:
"Vehicle Configuration Inconsistent. Check"
"Parking Brake Failure"
"Drivetrain Failure"
"Check Convertible Roof Secure" (mine's not a convertible!!)
and a few others.
The service indicators all had re-set too and were telling me that service items were due for the year 2000 (just a little 16 years before the car was built).
I did indeed have all those cafd’s missing, but with your helpful instructions most are now restored. My NBT & Instrument Cluster are working again, and I’m no longer getting the above codes.

However, for a few of the ECUs, when I click Detect CAF for SWE it says “No CAFD-Mapping for base variant “xxxx” found. [G090]”. I’m still missing cafd for:
EME4 [3a]
FEM_GW [10]
FLE [44]
GWS [5e]
TFM2 [1d]
I'm going to try to re-extract and replace PSdZData full into the E-Sys folder in case something went wrong there.

I still have some errors:
Restraint System seemingly not working - "Function of airbags, belt tensioners and belt force limiter fault." I'm going to check some of the lines within ACSM to make sure they are coded to aktiv.
My Adaptive Cruise Control doesn't work anymore, either - I believe that one is under ICM so will look around carefully in there.
My front-right (driver-side in UK) light cluster doesn't work either. I know the car was in an accident before I bought it, so that was likely replaced. Need to figure out how I can get that working as a non-original part if anyone knows what I need to do for that..?
You only need psdzdata Lite, not Full.

Some ECU such as FEM_GW and GWS do not have CAFD, as they are not codeable ECU.

I would not even worry about any faults until all ECU that require CAFD have CAFD and are properly VO Coded.

Injecting CAFD (Detect CAF for SWE) and Flashing ECU's with >= v.4.17.20 PSdZData requires using newer E-Sys 3.30.0 or higher. PM sent.

Hi Sean, I have a F30 335i. Trying to code in a replacement used steering rack, and It is not reading the CAFD for the EPS. How should I proceed? And do I need a FSC repair code?

PM me VIN so I can check FSC Code requirement.

What do you mean by not reading CAFD? Aren't you injecting CAFD into replacement EPS and VO Coding it?

$1500 for software?

What do you mean Activate Head Unit? Car has NBT Head Unit from factory. Why does it need Activation? Was it replaced?

That sucks.

Did you replace NBT with another NBT or a different Head Unit type?

So process is:

1) Install NBT and VO Code it.
2) Wipe Donor FSC Codes from Donor NBT
3) Load original VIN Matching FSC Codes in NBT.

Nothing. Those are not CAFD files. What you do NOT want is cafd_ffffffff-255_255_255.

It's not Missing. ZGW does not have CAFD. It is not a codeable ECU.
