Hello F8X Owners!

We are proud to announce that you can now enable FULLSCREEN CARPLAY on your own for FREE without 3rd Party Sellers / Custom Patching Method.

Requirement: Your vehicle must be updated to the latest firmware (NBT_EVO_X)

Simply use Esys, or BimmerCode / Carly

READ HU_NBT2 and search for CARPLAY_FULLSCREEN

Set to Aktiv

Where in CA are you located? I'd like to be able to just drive my car somewhere to get my firmware updated. I'm in norcal.

Simply PM us your Last 7 of VIN and we will tell you your firmware version.

No reason for you to go to your car like the other Vendor stated.

Not necessary.

Let us help you.

Send us a PM with your Last 7 of VIN and we will let you know your firmware version!

Going to your car and searching for it isn't necessary.

We are happy to help all Bimmerpost members

About to be sent but just curious (for all involved). If I had it updated at BMW would your lookup reflect that? I bought the car CPO so not sure if they may have updated prior to sale.

Of course, we use BMW servers to determine firmware level. If your vehicle was updated, it would be reflected on their servers.

Is NBT EVO O181841 not the updated version, some how I thought the instructions list a picture with this version as the updated version, I could have misunderstood.

It's not the updated version, but it supports Fullscreen CarPlay by patching.

If you have latest firmware, is the full screen Apple CarPlay also now reversible if you enable it and decide to go back?

(I realize most won't want to revert, but it's worth knowing).

Quick question:

What is the minimum version of NBTEVO_???? that supports FDL coding of the parameter HU_NBT2 > CARPLAY_FULLSCREEN to active?

Thanks.

Thanks. Quick question.

Does your ENET cable solution update the firmware to NBT_EVO_X version (on compatible vehicles)?

On another note; you are providing a great service to the community. Will be donating to the charity shortly. Thank you for the support. 🙏
