Oh man that would be awesome. Tbh I'm on the young side on this forum and I've only been tracking for 2 years. But I'm the type to spend hundreds of hours on the simulator to prep for a track day so I was able to improve pretty quickly haha. So if you don't mind my shorter driving history, I'd love to hit the tracks with you guys! (I'd pay for consumables and insurance of course).

Oh man I'd love a f-type vert in Cali weather. That thing sounds awesome Might just have to get in touch with you and your friend if I come for a visit haha
Yea send me a Pm when you come out west! I’ll do the same when I’m in TO

Both cars are on the same tires, Nt-01 and both are relatively stock except for slight mods such as camber plates and monoballs for his cayman. Just wanted to share this real life track comparison that may be more relevant to most of us rather than the exotics comparisons we see so frequently!

Mod list:
2018 M4 ZCP 6MT
-Ground control camber plates
-K/N filter
-Apex Sm-10 wheels
-275/305 Nitto Nt-01
-Schroth quickfit harness
-PFC-08 pads
-Endless RF650

2014 Cayman S (981) 6MT
-Monoball front/rear
-solid bushings
-Gt3 control arms
-Rays TE37
-245/275 Nitto Nt-01
-Ferodos Ds1.11
-girodisc rotors
-Castrol SRF
-Slight tune for midrange torque; no peak power increase
That was really fun to watch! Thanks for sharing this great post. Ignore the trolls.

Glad you enjoyed it! I've scheduled another track day with the same friend on Aug the 16th so I'm hoping I'll be able to post a round two haha. All good with all the posts; we all have our own opinions!
