I know it's a very subjective question to ask considering everyone's Coilovers, Spring Rates, Linear or not, Weight of the car, Ride height etc, etc. are different. What's everyone's track settings? Do you change it depending on the track? Depending on the set of tires? I'm looking to experiment different settings the next time out. Just FYI, I've kept mine at the same track settings for the last 2 M3's. Thanks.
JRZ RS Pro with Eibach 450/550 Track Front Compression 9. Rebound 14 Rear. Compression 7. Rebound 11

Those are some soft spring rates, back when I had the RS Pros I was running 550/800 non coil over rear.
Compression was at 4-5 clicks out, rebound 6-8 depending on tire and ambient temp. Gas pressure is also a big tuning tool, I tried 150-300 in 50psi increments. Noticed you get sharper high speed damping at the same settings as psi went up. Made for a shitty ride on the street with anything over 200 though. |

MCS 2WNR full coilover
Right now I'm running 800F/700R full coilover. I've also run 550F/500R. The 800/700 is a bit much for the street, but the 550/500 is pretty good. I have a nitrogen tank I made up for a few hundred dollars that I use to adjust pressure as well. This is quite easy btw.

I run 725F/900R ERS Springs on JRZ RS Pro. I had them revalved for these rates so I don't have to run the compression and rebound to the max settings for track.
F Compression 10-11, F Rebound 4-5 R Compression 12-13 R Rebound 5-6 That's for a glass smooth GP track on Slicks. On a bumpier track I turn every thing down 2-3 clicks. |

I'd like to be able to dabble my own gas pressures according to my liking in the future. Good to know.

Agreed, not needed on F80. The rear chassis is very stout.

Man you guys are pretty serious.
For us other track guys, who go about 5-8 times a year, don’t time ourselves and just want to enjoy the car but at a more spirited level, is there a decent track coil over that is a more set it and forget it set? Currently I have the Bilstein b16 Damptronic coilovers but even in sport plus, I need more cowbell. |

I can't speak for JRZ remotes, but I have a MCS 3WR and it's wonderful. Great street manners, awesome at the track, the N2 pressure holds a year at a time... just wonderful
