Hey guys! I have had the BM3 for a couple thousand miles now and it's been incredible. I had the chance to do a dyno day today and it made decent power! I am extremely satisfied with the results and it made about what I was expecting from the butt dyno. It made 486/497 consistently over three runs. Mods are BM3 stage 1 93 octane tune, Injen intakes, and MPE. Next mods will be charge pipes, down pipes, and E85. If anybody is on the fence about this tune, don't be. There isn't a better product, more reliable customer service, or easier experience out there.
Edit: I've had a couple people ask me about the pull itself. If you want to see it, it is on my instagram @Thomas_F80 Edit 2: As openflash pointed out, the graph may be slightly wrong. If I can find a better dyno and operator I will run it again and see if I can get a more accurate reading. There may be a difference in 15-20 or so whpbut torque should remain the same. Aside from that, the car is brutally fast but still easy to control. 295 PS4S on the back and when they're hot (100 degrees) it hooks up beautifully in second and RIPS! |

The Bootmod3 Stage 1 even on 91 octane is a ton of fun. Has a great power curve and is super smooth and responsive. The midrange torque is strongly addictive vs. the more dialed-back factory tune.

Just to clarify, is this a stage 1 93 “OTS” tune? I’m running an AA mid pipe and I’ve been really close to pulling the trigger for this tune.. Nice numbers!

Yes, it is one of the free OTS tunes straight off the bat. It makes it even more impressive in my opinion. Also, I really want a fabspeed mid pipe paired with VRSF downpipes. I love the sound of the AA mid and would get it if I didn't have to hack up the MPE to make it fit which I'm not too interested in haha

Sweet for just a Stage 1! You should do the graph in STD instead of DIN. When I was at the dyno last time that CF: DIN showed lower numbers for everyone at dyno day and dyno operator prefers using STD he said.

Lucky you with that 93 octane. Good numbers, enjoy the tune!

I didn't have a choice unfortunately. Next time I will ask for it to be printed differently and hopefully it's a much cleaner pull.

You don't need intakes for stage 1. The stock intake is pretty well designed, most aftermarket intakes are more for looks and noise. If anything, it's the air scoops that come with most intake kits that do the most help.

Stock air boxes are incredibly efficient and the most trouble free. Cons: Not that pretty and no cool sounds. 700+whp club still sporting stock boxes with paper filters. That being said, I'm itching to throw one on my 250hp X1

Don't know about dyno numbers, but the car feels faster with downpipes. It will spool quite a bit earlier and be more responsive.
I didn't realize how much difference it made until I took mine back off. There is more rev and more waiting before the boost comes on with the stock downpipes. |

Pulled schoolbuses on a DCT M Vert with my 6 speed. It's quite a bit.

Here is a comparison from my M4. Bootmod3 stage 2 93 tune. Stock downpipes, MPE exhaust, K&N drop-ins. I run with 20% torque reduction.
Also a Dynojet dyno. |
