https://apps.apple.com/us/app/e85cal/id1470313135 If you have an iPhone download this app. Tell it your current E mixture, Target E mixture, tank size and the percentage of gas left in the tank and it'll do all the math for you

Drive to empty, 5g e85 and the rest 93. It's like e35 blend but it's good to go. I've ran e40 at the track and had no difficulties. Just do 1/3 e85 and you're fine.

I do my e first since it's a lesser amount and will be blended better by 93

If you are running an E tune, I would suggest you spend the time to install an ethanol sensor. Makes life SO much easier. I have a Bluetooth installed on my M4 and I ask a lot of my fuel source. Why guess? If you're gonna spend the time and money for the tune....

I use the http://www.georgebelton.com/E85Calculator.php website as well when I want to estimate a specific ethanol content. I'm usually close but I can tell you over time you will get the content quite off without a flex fuel sensor. Luckily I have one of those so I don't care. OP in all honesty if you're messing around with ethanol, get yourself an ethanol sensor asap.

The fuel it version I have takes a few hours since you have to pull off the IC, throttle body and intake to make the connection at the HPFP by the rails.

I wrote this up about a year ago
