More boost = more pressure on the charge pipe. The stock M3, M4 charge pipe is made from weak plastic and is not designed to handle the extra boost that a tune offers. We have been seeing a lot of S55 charge pipe fail under high boost. The Evolution Racewerks charge pipe is made from high grade aluminum to ensure reliability. The ER charge pipe will not fail!! This charge pipe is offered with lifetime warranty.
Stock charge pipe start round at 1.75” then turns rectangular, then round again and expands to 2.25” close to the intercooler. The Evolution Racewerks S55 charge pipe stays at 2.25” with smooth transition without causing any air restriction. This upgrade in design combined with smooth transitions and minimal restrictions ensure better throttle response and less turbo lag.



1/8" NPT Bungs (For Methanol or Nitrous Injectors):

Evolution Racewerks M3, M4 charge pipe is offered with 2 methanol bungs. Each pipe has one bung that can be used either for methanol injection or Nitrous. This standard configuration is perfect for both methanol injection users and non methanol injection user. The bungs are capped and charge pipe can be used with or without methanol injection.
You can also connect a boost gauge to the methanol bung to monitor boost.
Optional – If you wish to add more bungs, please leave a comment in the note section when completing your order.


Note - For customers who have the Aquamist Methanol Injection Kit, Aquamist injectors use a 8mmx0.75 thread pitch instead of the 1/8" NPT standard that every other brand uses. If you have an Aquamist Methanol Kit, no worries! We have bungs made specifically for the Aquamist. Specify below if you need Aquamist bungs. Since this affects a very low amount of people, they will be custom made for you and not be regularly stocked. Also, we do not have plugs for these bungs. You will have to already have the Aquamist kit.
