Is this better?

I was thinking of refinishing them in matte black or brushed black faces and lips, while keeping a hint of red behind them. (possibly keeping the red barrels and doing anodized red hardware)

What would you guys think of that?

I think the black does help the wheels a little. In my honest opinion I think the wheel design is just a tad too busy for the car. If it was a monoblock wheel like the HRE P201 where there are no assembly bolts it probably would look better. Also, I wouldn't revert back to the Signature wheels. You should try to keep American made or German made wheels on this sportscar.
