Air ride vs. Static

I couldn't find a thread regarding peoples experience comparing air ride to coil overs or even stock suspension with aftermarket lowering springs. Share your thoughts please!

Coilovers I believe from what I've read on here are mostly inferior in terms of ride quality to stock. Higher priced ones which I've read otherwise such as Ohlins or Bilstien which can be ordered to be as smooth as stock.

I would stay away from air ride suspension as they are mostly for looks and not performance.

Springs are just for aesthetics believe it or not make your car handle/ride worse than stock... that is because the stock springs are highly engineered.

A good set of coils can ride smoother than OE pending what settings you have it. My KWV3 ride "smoother" than the OE ZCP shocks/struts

So aftermarket springs are only for aesthetics and are not highly engineered????

That is an absolute RIDICULOUS statement!!!!!

Coilovers ride better than stock and handle much better. Air suspension is whack.

Springs are bouncy and not set up for the stock dampers.

Skip springs and air and go directly to coils.

I believe the M Performance Springs have the same rate as the ZCP springs.

Either way, IMO I would go KWV3's.
