Ouch. Sorry to hear that OP.

What are you planning on doing now? Replacement? Fix it and live with it?..

Dont, Ive had my M4 for a couple weeks now with 1,000 miles and none of that is happening to me. The sound is amazing! Probably the best I've heard, and yes MUCH better than the V8

I'm so glad I ordered a 2015 Vette. I drove the new M4 and the sound was horrible in comparison. These issues with quality are shocking; I hope they get them fixed so that all of the folks that purchased early don't get burned.

Not going to sound as good as a V8 for sure.

The person that drives the Chevy is "shocked" at the BMW quality issues? The C7 auto trans have been overheating on track days. Chevy still hasn't figured that one out yet. New models are going to go through some growing pains.

Seriously. This is hardly a new thing. There's a reason people say don't buy a first year model (says the guy that drives an 08 E92 )

Which is hilarious since we have Nick Murray as a new member here ... and who's only here because his 911 was a lemon!

I'm going to give BMW a chance/a few chances to fix the problems. I hope they are able to fix them. My last F13 M6 went back as a lemon and I really don't want to go through all of this again.

Can't believe you went through that with your M6 and here you are again.

Hopefully your C7 is reliable... there are as many or more issues with those cars. My clutch went after 2,500 miles

The bottom line is any and all cars will have issues... 1st model year, 2nd, 5th, etc. There are so many chicken littles around here (and just as many or more on the Corvette forum ).

Sorry for your bad experience. Not a single issue after 16 days here (knock on wood).

You read this bro?

CCB are known to make grinding and squealing noises. Very normal.

If you have the right exhaust, you won't hear it.

I guess you missed the 100+ page thread on corvetteform from owners and problems they experienced with their C7...part of the reason I backed out of my order.
