Prefer the black over the YMB.

Any mods planned?

Sure.. and the constant weekend cleaning :-)

Until they've designed a black paint which withstands swirling, I won't be touching it at all

I am pleasantly surprised that so far the YMB doesn't show the dirt too badly at all.

How long does it take? I have been told they will need the car all day.

What should I check to ensure all has been completed ok?

Also is Launch Control enabled at the same time?

Thank you!
So have you tried launch control since your service?

I'm picking mine up today, so foresee a bit of arse kicking to make up for pootling around in the 520d loaner.

I got lucky, at my last visit they gave me a 550i GT for a loaner. Not the car I would pick but a little fun at least.

Mine was in for the 1200 mile service for 3 hours; I have the service pack, but I asked what the normal price of the 1200 mile service was and I was told about £600. Is this right? Has anyone paid for their service, and how much please?

I was told £500 so I opted for the service pack. When I picked up the car they forgot about the service pack so had an itemised bill for £285

Very poor show from the dealer IMO.

£303 today if I hadn't got the service pack (they thought I didn't to start with).

Engine and rear transmission oil changed.

6 MT not DCT. Have the Americans decided whether I should have had the gearbox oil changes as well?
