It would be rude not to sample the A686 on your next meet down here...

Like anywhere to really enjoy the roads you need to be up early, especially in the lakes.
Which may prove difficult for the guys who have far to travel.

Absolutely... A belter of a road. I went up it on Sunday after the meet but it was heaving. Spent most of it following caravans

This is very true Tom,
Got up a couple of times really early, around 5am, im my last M4, and blasted through the Lyth Valley, and around Crook in the Lakes, then down the A6 up to Shap, then back Through Orton to Kendal, was brilliant. Just got to watch out for wildlife at these times through the countryside bits.

Been on Knockhill on a BMW day but not with my own car, not sure about the other lads.

There are BMW CC Trackdays at Croft and Knockhill on the 17th of July and 4th August respectively; downside is they are hosted on weekdays!
