Hi I went round the Munich plant today. The tour guide was great. Your spot on with 40 hours that's what he said also.
At the painting stage there are 3 areas right next to each other where the cars are painted the colour the customer has chosen. They as I say are right next to each other. All run parallel to each other. The guide advised that it only takes a few seconds to change colour however due to having to purge & waste they will generally paint say 6-10 one colour then change. The 3rd paint area far away from where I was viewing he said generally did the individual paint bodies & also spare parts.
I can't recommend the tour & museum highly enough.

The sad thing about individual paint is it makes not on red cent come reselling time.

Estimated deliver date is week 27 of July which would be about 3rd of July.

It's getting closer if taking a long time at sea.

Hi folks, I have my new M4 competition. It's my first M car. I am aware that you can configure the M1 & M2 button.

Can you choose the default setting for when you switch on the car. Ideally I would like comfort steering & suspension. It defaults to another. Sport I think.

Yes I could configure one of the M buttons like this however I thought there might be away to configure a default setting of comfort steering & suspension?

No can do, it starts in that Eco/Sport/Sport.
I programmed the M1 to eco/eco/eco.
Then M2 to what I blast around with.
Easy to change on the fly though.

I seen you driving down St Swithin Street on Sunday, car looks awesome and that colour is gorgeous.

Amazing how many shades of blue I seen through the paint as you drove past.
