x5 10.25" Retrofit with MMI Prime

Hey all,

I recently bought a 10.25" APIX1 X5 screen (non-touchscreen. model #934787801) to retrofit to my MMI Prime system. Since this is APIX1 and my car is MY2017 (iDrive 5), I need to swap the CID cable with a voltage regulated cable (didn't know this at time of purchase.)

Has anyone done this retrofit with the MMI Prime before? I want to make sure there are no issues with plugging the voltage regulator cable into the HU.
