F8x owners what your favorite cosmetic mod on your M4

If you’ve done anything to your M4 to change up the look or add to it what was it? Also don’t be shy to attach a picture

These cars require four things in my opinion:

1. A drop.
2. Spacers.
3. Nice diffuser (I think Vorsteiner makes the best one for our cars).
4. Nice lip.

Put those four things to together and these cars look as good as anything on the road (without getting into the exotic area of course hah). We're also blessed that all OEM wheels which come with these cars look fantastic, so a wheel swap really isn't needed.

Here's mine with the before mentioned 4 mods, along with an MPE exhaust, Brembo GT kits, Vorsteiner side blades, color matched side markers, and some assorted interior changes you won't see in the pictures. I think less is more on these cars honestly, especially the CS versions, they are all very well setup from the factory.

Seconded on the less is more approach. A drop and spacers does wonders. Always go for the Shadowline trim. If you feel inclined to, then the front splitter, sideskirts, and diffuser can make the M4 look more aggressive. I like how body colored reflectors look although I’ve been too lazy to install mine

Agree with the reference to lowering and spacers and even though these are subtle mods, they actually make a huge difference.

I opted for the Eibach Pro Lowering kit with Bimecc spacers all round.

I also went for the upgraded carbon diffuser and splitter and also added a few more carbon accents.

Added a few engine bay mods that not only improved the look, they also improved the performance and sound.

I like the O-LED GTS Style tail lights.

But as others have said - springs, spacers, front lip, rear diffuser. I personally like window tint too around 35%

OEM OLEDs are unbeatable and while nice, I think the OEM LCI tails look better than the knockoff OLEDs. If a car is already equipped with OEM LCI tails I’d leave those, but for 15-17s the knockoffs are a good choice.

OEM LCI tails are gorgeous and far superior to the OLED knockoffs imo.

I put OEM lci shaddowline euro spec tails on my 17 and I love the look of them over the FOLEDs. Really can’t beat OEM parts in terms of quality and fitment. Not saying the all the FOLEDs don’t fit right but you always run that risk.

I've become sick of carbon fibre this & that and come to appreciate the F82 in its pure form.

All it takes is a slightly lower ride height to achieve what I think is near beauty. So that'd be my favourite cosmetic modification.

As with most things, its all down to personal taste. I had a conversation with a guy at a car show who totally disagreed with any mod of any type and in any shape or form……..and he drove a Nissan GTR!

And the R35 is another example of a car that people modify for the sake of modifying it because it's supposed to be a tuner car. Chris Harris skidding one around a track was enough to tell me that a stock example is sorted enough to enjoy stock.

What do you wanna do with a 800bhp GT-R, let alone in the UK?

I still don't have the balls to drive my stock F80 with the DSC off on track. Still exploring the limits of it 5 years later.

I was saying something similar the other day. I dare not go into MDM as i know I don’t have the bottle or more importantly the skill to drive it to its limit. I do however drive a BM3 modded car so i cant really talk
