99% sure the wife and I saw it while eating lunch outside at Fletchers last year. We were surprised they were bringing that thing into the smaller bay/dock area they have. They got it done but that is a big boat.

Nothing material wise but we had a normal Christmas with extended family so that was really cool. Wife and I don’t really do presents as we mostly have what we want and we just get it ourselves if we do want something.

Oh man, we had this on guy, Steve, who was the THE BEST DM ever. Like seriously the best. It totally made the game and we'd have these sleep-overs and play in his basement the entire weekend. I was a thief. just loved that shit.

Then Steve got sick of being DM and insisted on being a character so another guy did it ... 3 months later it all spilled out onto the front lawn with two guys throwing punches and tearing shirts because one killed the other's character in order to finish a level.

And that was the end of my D&D days.

In a related 1982 story, remember this Tom Hanks movie?

It varied recently. Lowest during the day is 50 F. Lowest during the night was 35 F.

Lups, how is it in Finland with your neighbors to the East doing what they always do? I was stunned that both Finland and Sweden are seriously thinking about officially joining NATO. I don’t think they want a return to the past (especially Finland) where they had to run everything through Moscow first. This may backfire on Putin spectacularly. He’ll get Ukraine but at a huge cost. Potentially bankrupting Russia again and galvanizing the West/NATO against him.

I’ve said this before and I still believe it. Russia and Putin if he is around long enough will become China’s bitch (used in a non gender form)

. It was interesting to see them speak up in wanting to help Kazakhstan. Potentially with deploying troops there as well. This definitely caught Putin’s attention. I wonder how long that “friendship” will last before the inevitable breakdown between the two.
