It's a bit Jaguar V6 F-Type sounding for me, I actually really like the signature M3/M4 sound haha, I'm assuming I'm a minority

Talk about marketing, all the non-EQL exhausts don't make power or fix the sound IMO haha.

With that said, I would also like to see a dyno with the EQL pipes as well although I expect negligible gains at best. Just curious if the "wiggly bits" result in any lose of power.
Technically, the EQL exhausts reduce flow potential and performance wise aren't ideal. They may flow well enough with catted (stock) downpipes not to lose power but with catless downpipes and higher levels of tuning, they'll become restrictive and prevent maximum power being attained. The best exhaust on a turbo charged engine is no exhaust and they only need to flow, not like NA engines where scavenging potential becomes a tuning tool with header and exhaust designs.

Tbh i have 0 clue why everyone hates the M4 sounds with an aftermarket exhaust like MPE or akra. At least it is unique.

Rasp isn't that bad imo.

Because it sounds like a weed whacker. Or an airplane.
You get used to it though. An acquired taste

Everyone i know whos into the car scene that has heard mine thinks it sounds very "wild".

So while it may not be a euphoric soothing soundtrack, i feel it matches the car

It is unique for sure. Part of the reason to let it ride and sound wild. That being said I'd get an eq setup like yesterday if I could

MPE sounds great when I can accelerate for a long stretch (i.e. race track) again and again; or while driving along a wall that bounces the sound off. I think people who hear from outside say it sounds pretty good. But car is too fast to do that in everyday road.
Also from inside the cabin, the engine noise is too quiet without ASD. Perhaps (I hope) EL setup will synchronize the engine note with the exhaust note more so that I can hear and feel better from driver seat.

midpipes are on back order, shipping will take a long time and because I'd rather drop 1500 on something else that would make the car go around the ring faster than sound better.

but damn that pipe sounds good.
still, for that money i have higher priorities at the moment

It all depends on which downpipes / axle back its being used with.

Catless + non -res does not sound good, everything else sounds good to me

You may be right, most have been non res, they are extremely raspy for some reason

Dynos are coming! This mid pipe will fit all applications that our single mid pipe fits, so you can pair it with your choice of rear muffler system.

We have an option to add some resonators at the rear of the mid pipe that helps cut down on the rasp when you're running catless downpipes.

Can you do this on your single mid pipe?
