The more of this new m3 I see, the more convinced I am about buying out my current e92

Keep in mind this is a prototype and so even if Mineral Grey does not become an actual F80 color it's irrelevant here as this is only a test car.
Agreed! Definitely mineral grey.

What this M3 is missing is the M4 duck-tail trunk... BMW really pulled a fast one on this sucker. I'm sold...

Is it bad if I've already built my M3 in my head (to compliment the E92 which will be paid off by then)?

Waiting until LCI, but:
Some kind of bright color - LSB, Imola Red, Sakhir Orange... something along those lines
Black cloth interior
Tech package (should include HUD)
LED headlights (if not standard)
ZCP
Rear folding seats (if not included)
Upgraded sound system

Done. ED and PCD.

Looks seriously bad ass, but I think it would look a lot better with the M4`s CSL trunk.

What? Why is it f30/32 and f80/82 then? Arent these chassis codes? The non m series has nothing to do with the m cars. E90/92 M3 shared about 20% of its parts from the regular 3er. I wonder what the percentage is now. Maybe a little more but maybe even less!

Always bought coupes over sedans, but now it's time to think....
Its because those of us with sedan m3 were able to see into the future! Is there a crystal ball emoticon here somewhere? Haha

I just love the Singapore gray. The stance is aggressive. But not sure if its more aggressive than the M4.

Even less % shared now. Hence the separate chassis codes (f80 f82 f83).

ROFLMAO, thats the point of a smaller M car! The M5's and M6's are less crazy and more business-like, but the smaller ones are supposed to be ostentatious!

I just wish there was an f81, I would heavily consider it over an m2 GC.

Wish they would hurry up an announce pricing and production dates. I had hoped for a Frankfurt Auto Show introduction but I doubt they want anything taking the spotlight away from the new i cars.

why is the m4 so ...... E92 335 looking? Is it wider than the new f80 m3? The wheel stance should be the same between the 2, but the f80 m3's cabin may be more narrow than the m4... that would make sense. But..... the swollen fenders do look awesome, I just need a coupe. Even the m3 e92 has larger fenders...... This m4 just doesn't look aggressive at all. Sexy yes, aggressive - No.

For me it would be Atlantis/Platinum or LSB/Amaro or Rust. And obviously LCI/ZCP.

If I went with a blue car, Rust interior would def be the way to go. But at this point, I'm trying to limit the damage, because this is going to be an $80k car with a few Individual stuff. I'd like to try to keep it in the 70s.

The M4 IS wider... that's why it doesn't need fenders this big for the same stance. If it had these fenders, it would be hella wide, and we would never need a wide body kit for them.

OP - Awesome Pics! Thing looks great. I love those fenders, but that's about it. I'll stick with the M2 in my dreams... then the M4....
