Shops with crankhub experience
I purchased a f80 m3 last year and would like to have a pinned crank hub installed before I start adding any power. I received a quote from precision motor sports in Farmington mi a couple months ago for ~3800 including parts and labor. I know its a labor intensive job, but I’ve seen adds for shops on the west coast for much cheaper (~2500). Does anyone know of any other shops in MI/OH/IN that have experience in pinned crank hub installs.
Appreciate any info! |

German auto werks in IL and midwest auto sports in IN are the two I’m considering when I’m ready. They have both posted experience with crankhub installs

Friend of mine went to Dynamic BMW. He drove all the way up from St. Louis.

This is not the type of service you want to cheap out on. A crank hub itself cost around 1000-1500 depending on which one you're going with. If a shop is advertising for 2500 or less parts included then most probably they are taking shortcuts with installation
