Ok as i explained before. BMW insider SCOTT gave me some pointers on bumpers, side fender designs and other things. i wouldnt make such render without being atleast 80% positive about the look of the M4. BMW's M4 will have the same body style and lights as the 4 series. front bumper will be part by part identical to the f80 M3 along with the 1M style bumper vents as you have seen in the f80 M3 spy shots. i was also told that the M4 will have a very similar fender design like the 1M coupe along with the flared quarter panel and front fender. BMW's M4 will also most likely come with the M6 style split carbon fiber roof and E92 M3 style side skirts. oh and the Hood dome Vent type thing you also see in the f80 M3 spy shots. Im going by what ive been told. anymore questions feel free to contact SCOTT

Who killed the marque?
It's an amazing looking 70K+ car. I would rather see a successor to the E30 that is produced in volume and we can get it the USA. Recent failed examples:
Example 1: e92/e90 335i's - fuel pump problems, limp mode track day special, infamous brake squeak, CCC/DVD drive failures, reliability failures galore. Example 2: 1M - 740 units for the U.S. customers. Enough said. Example 3: M135i Hatchback: Will not be brought to the U.S. market. A promise of a coupe version being brought to the US in 2014 waits to be proven. 3 great examples of guaranteed corporate decisions/designs that will end up killing the marque among U.S. enthusiasts. Is anyone at BMW corporate listening? Is it even conceivable that we could get a car from you under $60K that one would hope of ever taking to a track day and not being disappointed? Or should those folks with such a desire just move on to a WRX STI or Mitsu EVO and live with the ugly? Last edited by CivicSi_to_335i; 01-24-2013 at 01:55 AM.. |

Wow... Looks badass!!
I'll never let go of my E90, so this might have to be an addition to the fleet. I'm still going to call it an M3 though. When I think M4 the only picture that comes to mind is an assault rifle! Although this car will probably murder a lot of cars out there
