Maintenance Program Transfer

Hey guys,

I got my 2016 AY F83 about 4 weeks ago with 7k miles. As far as maintenance there were 2 oil changes (at 6k and 6.7k miles) and microfilter replacement at 6.7k miles. Also there was "B540217 Service Action Control Units" service on 6.7k miles. On my dash it's saying that I have to do brake fluid service next month or 9000 miles and the next oil change is on February 2019. I have read all over this forum that spark plugs needs to be changed on the third oil change service which will be 02/2019. My question is that if it's a good idea to get the Transfer Maintenance Program for $700. BMW dealership in San Antonio charges are about:

Oil Change: $200
Brake Fluid: $200
Spark Plugs: $1,100
Full Brake Pads and Rotors: $3,200

If I get the maintenance program it will be expires 02/2020. What do you guys think? Get the Transfer Maintenance Program or not?

Last thing, previous owner had Tire/Wheel & Gap Waiver 150% MSRP service program. Are they transferable?

i just apoke to a rep about this at bmw na is worth it because you dont pay for the spark plug or oil change also covers brakes and rotors if they are the non ceramic so the 700 u pay to transfer also covers the current visit if its at the dealer like mine for my 19000 oil change and air cabin cilter change

I did the maintenance transfer on my 16. I only paid $500 2 yrs ago though. So far its paid for 2 oil changes, brake fluid, wipers and spark plugs. So everything after this is free essentially. I also like that the dealer is doing the work while under warranty period. This way if things go wrong I can't be blamed (even though I can do the work myself).

And if the brakes happen to go, then there's another win.

Thanks guys, is there any time limit to purchase the transfer maintenance after you buy the car?

I don't know for sure, but when I bought my M4 it seemed like it was a now or never kind of thing. As others have mentioned I believe it's worth it, so far I've had a couple oil changes, filters, wipers, and spark plugs. Mine runs out late June 2019 so not sure if I'll get to brakes/rotors, but if so that would be a massive win over all for me in relation to the cost of the plan refresh.

Thanks man, BMW of San Antonio gave me $900 offer and I said that is very high I know it is $700 and they said oh we charge $200 more and that is the way it is, they also said the $900 offer is actually for their own customers but since I am nice person they would be able to give me this offer and their actual price is $1100!!! Can you believe that???? They also charge ridiculous for their maintenance, I got quoted way less for all maintenance from BMW of Austin!!! Anyway before I bought my F83 I was in contact with Jimmy Bach from Steve Thomas BMW, he is such a decent person, talked with him multiple times on phone and via email. I finally got the transfer Maintenance Program through them today.
