BM3 GTS Tune vs OEM comparison
So I had the opportunity to do a baseline dyno and compare it against the BM3 GTS tune. I was able to achieve an average increase of 40hp and 40tq.
Link to the videos if you are interested below. Dyno video: Dyno numbers in detail: Graphs in the next post.

Thanks. For a Stage 0 map it feels a lot better on the road.

Nice and thanks!! I was wondering how much it picked up. I flashed the GTS tune and have had it flashed for a few weeks.
I am too chicken shit to flash the stage 2 flash without a crank hub

The GTS tune is considered a Stage 0.

yeah but you only pick one with the license and since I have catless downpipes i selected stage. Stage 2 is only 2/3% lift over stage one so that is the reason i selected it and I am also planning on swapping the CH

Do you update charge pipes, j-pipe with a GTS Tune? What about at Stage 1?

Wondering why only 40hp gain when BMW said the GTS has 493hp. Stock S55 is 425hp right, so where are the missing horses? Water injection and increases boost, but that's a 30hp difference? What am I missing?

I echo this.
It took me some time but when I finally flashed to the GTS map, I was so stoked with the increase. The drivability was what improved the most for me. Combine that with the GTS tranny/diff flash and I am a happy camper. I am holding off on stage 1...for now... josh |

I've been running the CS+ tune with no issues for 2 years now and am very happy with just that. I have the option to do stage 1 but I'm content with stage 0

I've tried looking for stage 0 tune comparisons without success. Would be really intresting to see the differences GTS, CS, CS+! If you have any more information please send it my way |

That thread shows the BM3 CS vs CS+ tune, which doesn't exactly answer your question, but does show CS+ vs stock and you could extrapolate from there. I know different dyno and different conditions and all of that don't make it a purely accurate comparison. I don't think the CS+ vs GTS are that different based on the results of the dyno charts when talking peak numbers. The GTS should feel more linear in nature where as the CS or CS+ maps have higher TQ down low (about 500 RPM sooner based on the graphs). |

Fwrigley is right, not much difference between the two maps, maybe a small difference In torque. I had both on my car and just decided to go with the CS+ tune.
