F80 M3 / F82 M4 Color Options? Pure Metal Silver?

Just wondering if anyone's knows (or has a hunch) what colours the upcoming M3/M4 will be available in.

Would really love to see BMW bring back Space Grey for this car. It would look really sharp with the carbon fiber roof. Is there a chance we see Space Grey?

What colour would you pick if you were to order the upcoming M3/M4?
Would love to hear your opinions.

I've been thinking about this myself. The car world around here is pretty monochrome, black, white, silver and grey. My current car is Jerez Black before that it was Saphire Black and before that Space Grey. I think I want to go for a lighter color this time and maybe with some more color, I'd like to see Monte Carlo or San Marino blue and Valencia orange. If I go monochrome I would like a light grey preferably even lighter than space grey and with a lot of shine, sparkle and depth.

Sounds intriguing and like you see your source as reliable. Any details if it's a light, mid or dark shade?

Solstice said it perfectly. Any chance for more details on the "new" blue?

Something like Dakar Yellow in the mix would be fun but most likely I will go with AW.

But then Space Gray was an amazing color!

there's almost a 100% chance that space gray will be available. someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but it's been available on just about every car BMW has made for the past 5 years.

I think they'll have monte carlo since they have it for the M5.

I really hope they bring back Carbon Black. If not hopefully Jerez is still available.

I'm most curious about interior colors though. it's a stretch, but I'd love it if Rust brown or some more unique colors were available. that would be my ideal combo - Carbon Black over Rust brown.

Space grey is not an option currently on the F30- it's been replaced with the darker Mineral Grey. That's my only concern as to why it won't be available on the new M3/M4.

Yes, I will not get Mineral Grey if that's what they will offer. Too dark. I would like a color that balances the line between Silver and Grey. And a color with depth, TiA for example is too light and rather flat, Space Grey have some depth and sparkle but it could be both deeper and more sparkly. Btw. what is the correct spelling of Grey, is it Grey or Gray?

Space Gray is available on the 6 Series, so its not retired and could theoretically see its way to the M3 and/or M4. I would not give it a great chance, but you never know.

Pure Metal Silver looks fantastic and just what I would be looking for in a monochrome color but WHY does it have to be an individual color I guess that means at least $5k premium for the paint, thanks but no thanks. Now how about that new blue...

Grey is in UK English. Gray is in US English

check it out ! www.greyorgray.com

Lol !!

Either way, I'd love Space Grey/Gray make a comeback on the M4!

Even Porsche's GT Silver Metallic is $3140 which would seem like a bargain. Granted prices are still speculation at this point, but between Pure Metal Silver at 5k and carbon ceramic brakes at around 9k, this has the potential to be quite expensive.

Individual colors on the 5 are $1,900 vs. $550 for metallic, so it's only a $1,350 uptick. Not awful...

I agree about the interior colors. The E9x had fairly boring options. Wouldn't mind a coral red instead of fox as well. Rust would be cool.

If only...the Pure Metal Silver must have some real silver in it. It's available for the M5 but not listed, same for the 7-series. It is however listed on the Swedish site for the 7 and it costs...drumroll...4 x the normal individual paints and twice that of the frozen paints. I'm not holding my breath for this one...
