Can M PSS tires be rotated from side to side?

I got Michelin PSS. Obviously with staggered setup rotation is not an option but can wheels be rotated from left to right?
I always thought that unless the tires have direction indicator, this can be done. PSS only have OUTSIDE mark on them.
What do you think?

MPSS are not directional. You can safely switch from side to side to increase their life span

Are most people doing this? I wasn't going to bother since they can't be rotated front to back.

You can rotate them as long as the mark that says outside is still outside... obviously tho you can only rotate them side to side.

How does this increase the life span, you're only changing the rolling direction of the tire, the inside (which I suppose is more worn, will still be the inside)?

This is what I was thinking. I always rotated front to back when I had a nose-heavy Audi with same sized tires all around. However, I wasn't planning on doing it with the M4 as it seems unlikely to do much for tire life particularly when considering there is a cost of rotating (not doing myself).

It can be of benefit for those who track their cars. The outside tire (left on clockwise tracks and right on counterclockwise tracks) will wear out faster.

also some tire manufactures will warranty the tire wear if you have the paperwork for rotation such as Michelin SS tire give a 30k warranty mileage. I plan to rotate my next set of tire and use the mileage warranty to my advantage. who care if it side to side, your doing your part of the tire maintainance (rotation, wheel balance & paper alignment).

You should read the warranty more carefully. Its 30k mile warranty for same size tires that have been rotating throughout their life and records kept that show mileage. They refund the remaining miles if the tires didnt reach 30k, you dont get a full refund.

Second, tire mileage warranty is cut in half for staggered setups.

This is the key part here for our M4.

Yes a Michelin told me to bring it to a Michelin authorized shop so they can determine the tire depth and give me a pro rated quote for a new set of tires. They mentioned noting of warranty slashed in half since it's staggered set.
