Brakes squeak when slow and reverse.
My brakes squeak like crazy lately. Whenever I’m slow stopping or breaking in reverse. I recently cleaned my Rear brake pads and lubed the back plates of the pads. It is a lot better. But why is it squeaking so bad? Is it the brake dust?

Mine usually make some sounds when reversing slowly out of the garage or similar situations. Happens a lot more after i wash the car.
Not sure if there is really a solution for it, but I'm all ears! |

I get the same little squeal...normal for OEM pads on steel discs. My driveway has a slight incline and I have a stick F80. I usually coast to a stop on the incline and roll back equal to my wife's SUV. There's always that little squeak, and my stock pads are plenty thick.
