Coding out: 3 little Amber LED's in the headlights?
Has anyone successfully coded out those amber little leds in the headlights? I'm not a fan of Amber light and had it disabled before on my e92 M3... For some reason the code posted for the F8X doesn't work.
Has anyone done it yet?

I spent 2 hours messing around with each those lights... at one point I messed up blinkers completely... Gave up in the end. It's hidden somewhere good.

I tried for a while and couldn't get it off. Then the other day we were out taking some photos and noticed that they aren't actually always on depending on what state your car is in (engine on vs off, lights auto vs manual)... might be a clue? Find the variable that determines when they are activated and then lock it in perhaps

Did any company that charges for coding figure it out? If I have to pay for it, I'll do it. It's ruining the look of my white M ;-)

I changed every setting under the side marker files and nothing happened at all. I honestly think they are not in the same files as the cars with Xenon. I also can't adjust my corona ring brightness like I could on my F30 with Xenon. The files are there but it just doesn't do anything

I did the same thing... went through every file in there and ended up messing up the lights... but those 3 damn things never turned off.

This should do it for LEDs (but I haven't confirmed this on my car since they don't bother me):
Both TMS modules, FDL Code Standlicht Modus 1 & Standlicht Modus 2, change the Werte Value 64 to 00 as follows: 00, 03, 00, 00, 64, 03, 00, 00, 64, 03, 00, 00, 2B, 04, 00, 00 00, 03, 00, 00, 00, 03, 00, 00, 64, 03, 00, 00, 2B, 04, 00, 00 http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho....php?p=9125089

Just to complete this thread, it works for Xenon cars to take out the side Amber/orange light in auto mode. Credits to TonySCV
