EPS -- is it difficult to stay on center?
For a brief sad period in my life I had a 2013 Audi S5 (no this is not a first world problems thread). The electric power steering was horrible and I never felt like I could get the car to drive in a straight line. On the highway it would either go right or left depending my slight input to the steering wheel. keeping on center was a chore.
Has anyone noticed this with the F80. I have heard the EPS is pretty good, so I am hoping I won't experience this in my new car (currently on a boat headed this way) |

I should also add than whenever I have tracked my F80 I've always been able to precisely steer the front wheels exactly where I want to go - very happy with steering on this car.

Nope. If you do have that feeling in this platform you should check your front toe alignment setting.
Fwd/awd cars are more susceptible to this phenomenon because of necessarily different caster angles. |

The only gripe is the front wheels tend to follow the road, like the road crown and slight ruts will force you to make a correction. Nothing intrusive mind you once you get accustomed to it. The EPS takes an easy hand imo. It's made me more attuned to being smooth with my inputs.
After a week or so it's almost intuitive now. |
