Carbon Interior

Hi,

For those with carbon interior, can you confirm something for me? What exactly is carbon fibre? Is it the following:

- Centre dash trim (where the hazard switch is).
- Drivers side air vent trim.
- iDrive controller trim.

Is there no carbon available for the passenger side air vent?

Thanks,
YMB

Depending on the model (i think), you can also get CF/Alcantara gear surrounds and CF gear knob. I have both in my DCT and think they look great.

I have a manual so couldn't get that.

Need to get a price on the other bits now and get it bought.

Does anyone know how hard it is to fit the trim and swap the buttons/vents from one set of trim to another? Is it all just clipped in and fairly easy to do or does it require a tech/someone experience to do it?

Took me around an hour for full m performance interior (steering wheel, shifter with surround, armrest, dash and doors) and I took my time. Vents and buttons (together) snap off old trim easily and clip onto new. Experience not required, just read up on forums, its easy. All clips, few basic tools required only for steering wheel, shifter and armrest.

Thanks.

What's the armrest carbon trim? Got a picture? Or do you mean the alcantara with M stripes?
