Milltek race exhaust, opinions

Hi all,

Does anyone have any experience with the milltek race system? Seems the best values exhaust on the market and they also do a secondary cat delete for it. Can get the whole lot for well under 2k.
Just wondered if anyone on here has it, or heard it in the flesh.

Judging from the vast response.... I'd say not OP. Milltek is good stuff though. But why would you want a secondary cat delete? The best gains are for primary cat removal - Leave the secondaries alone, so it will still pass an MOT & emissions...

Well I know the chaps in the US swear by mid pipe replacement for a great sound. I mentioned it as I want a replacement exhaust and the milltek off a very reasonable mid pipe add on for the system.
I’m not fussed for extra power over stage 1 tbh just want a louder, well balanced sound and some better rear aesthetics.

Are you saying with the primary cats removed that the car will pass emissions? Not that it affects me as I usually change cars like my underpants. Once every year.

I had the race system on mine along with the secondary cat bypass.

IMO it is an excellent quality system for the money and sounds great. It needs the secondary cat bypass to sound it's best tho.

It's seems strange as 10 years ago you would (IMOP) not look anywhere else for an aftermarket system and I put one on my E92 M3 and was really pleased. It seems since Akra and the OEM MPE has been launched the market for Miltek has dried up a little. I guess Audi are still probably the main market?
Either way a great co pant with good build quality
