My main concern is that I'm not trying to go from "only lit up with door" to "always lit" but rather to "light them up" in the first place as im installing M2C seats in my OG M2.

Did this install last weekend

Definitely ran into issues that weren’t present in the video (ofcourse)
Took an extra 45 minutes longer than it needed to.

Like what specifically?
Instructions are pretty precise. Video install is made by a random customer.

What issues did you have?

It wasn’t anything alarming
The thing that took me the most time was after identifying the correct wire on the seat harness and unseating it from the connector. At this point the wire lead got hung up inside the connector body and after fighting with it for half an hour I damn near ripped it out.

Like any install video his went smoothly, but of course I got stuck in another spot. It took me forever to release the connector end from the cable on the SECOND side. Funny enough the first one took 2 seconds
