Isn't that just fuel in the tank? My F20 M135i has done the same thing since new.

Run the tank down and see if its still doing it and then repeat test when full? Also, have you checked under the seat to make sure a passenger hasn't actually left a bottle in the back?

Hey bud,
I had this issue twice on my M4 cab (first the drivers side and then passenger). When It rains the water should travel down the inside of the rear quarter pannel (i.e. where your rear windows are) and the water then comes out of the underside via a drain. When the drain gets blocked with debris the water sits on the inside. The fix was to unblock the drain and from what I recall they made the hole a bit larger. Never had an issue again. Second time it was the other side. Hope that helps. |

Hey all, usually in the garage but had the f83 in the rain and have a bunch of water stuck in there. Has anyone done a diy for this. Bmw told me they want $400 just to drain the water... its a 2015 so no warranty
