M Performance HAS dealer install?

Anyone recently purchased and had their dealer install the MP HAS in NYC? Looking for dealer install to keep warranty intact. I was quoted $3,159.52 by a dealer in Long Island and that does seem to be on the higher side. Fair price? Any other dealers nearby selling and installing for a better price?

Warranty will be intact even if they don’t install.
$3200 is an absurd price! Should be around $600 - $800 by an Indy

So your install price for a HAS kit, is around the price of a brand new set of KW or Bilstein EDC coil-overs, that's insane man, I wouldn't pay anything over 600$ for an install.

Dealers are expensive, I was charged 2600 to install it on my car before I took delivery. In hind site yeah it was a rip.

Love the channel Tommy! My thoughts exactly, roughly $2100 for parts and $1100 for labor. I have seen others in the forums saying that dealerships won't uphold warranty for suspension parts if needs be and will blame the fault on improper install. I do have an extended warranty and wouldn't want a portion of it to be voided.

Exactly haha, would just go with a full coilover kit for the same price or a bit more.

Whew, $2600 for labor alone?

You could try Stance Shop in Queens. They did a lot of work for Ms. I have them install my exhaust over there and price is very reasonable.

Heard great things about Keith @ Stance Shop. I'll definitely take my car over there if I do go the indy shop route.

Yea install quotes are redic(relative), where I'm at dealer quoted 12ish hours but indy shops around me quoted 10 hours. This is easy money for them(imo).

Any competent Tech can do it in 4 hours. BMW own instructions state 4.5 hours. I understand adding couple hours for overhead etc. but ultimately I did it myself(for fun).... and it's the first time I ever did any suspension install on any car. it's not that hard and couple useful youtube videos are out there to help you.

also helps if you know someone with a lift or quick Jacks.

I'm in Mi, but the M Perf HAS suspension is about $1500 here, and with installation included at BMW about $2k. Is that really the inflation rate from Mi to NY? Kind of insane and I'm sorry!

I asked different dealers when I bought mine, some seem like they have no idea what I was talking about. One in Mt.Kisco quoted 2.5 hrs, one in Hamptons quoted me 4 hours.

I say just DIY it’s not hard I did it thanks to TLG!
