No, but all US auto show cars with black wheels feature the same black-chrome face that has been seen on the wheel in all other regions so far.

That being said, I am still not completely convinced that there won't be an all black wheel from the factory - be it here or somewhere else. Or perhaps it will be sold as an accessory.

It's the photos. The lights are designed in such a way that they have a darker housing. It's hard to explain:

You can see where the black housing starts very clearly in this photo:

Worry not pkim, the headlights are aesthetically pleasing, LED or HID.

Just my opionion, but the more I see this color, the more I dislike it (which is rare...usually it goes the other way). But that's okay, that's why the make other colors too.

unless this car looks substantially better in person, the rear has the automobile equivalent of down syndrome. i hate sedans, but the m3 destroys this car aesthetically in still photos

Rims are the one of the most personal taste choices. I personally don't like all black wheels. I just can't get over it looking like a car that lost it's hub caps. I love the 1/2 n 1/2's though because it casts a dark look but the brightness highlights the lines.

Wow that yellow is awful. Imagine the trade in value you will get on that colour. Almost impossible to sell for sensible money second hand I reckon. Some dealers will ask for larger deposit in case the customer cancels order as they do now on certain colours.

Have to wonder if this will become the Byzanz of this decade. Folks almost gave those cars away.

In the 1st set of photos, the car is clearly covered in a thick layer of road grime. Look at the rocker panels and rear quarter view.

The 2nd set looks typical for what we've seen from other photos.

In the 3rd set of photos, someone left their iPhone filter (like Instagram, but integrated in the camera) on, so you can't judge anything by those colors.
