"Anna. Buy a car. I can't take this any longer. Peter was all Peter for sure but now you either buy a car or I'll hire an excavator contractor and do the drining whing with it to completion".
I'm not sure, but I think he is gonna get a ho on our my yard to do my digging if I keep not rollin. There has to be a rap song fitting this moment. Rock has hoes, but nothing rolls if it ain't a rock. Seriously. He is blackmailing me by replacing my trusted shovel with an actual crew fitted for the job for not buying a car. This has to be a new low. As for the car front, I had a quick fling with a Mase. Even the hubby thought that might not be something I should buy.

Hey Americans, pet peeve, in case anyone says anything to you about HIPAA, you can just tell them this:
If a person or business isn't YOUR healthcare provider, HIPAA doesn't apply - this is written quite plainly in the law, 45 CFR Part 160 & Subparts A and E of Part 164: "HIPAA Privacy ... applies to health plans, health care clearinghouses, and ... providers that conduct ... health care transactions."In other words, your doctor, your clinic, your insurance company, and any business THEY hire to process your healthcare stuff like labs, pharmacy, or claims processing. In other words, HIPAA doesn't apply to your wife, your husband, your kids, your parents, local businesses, online business, sports stadiums, concert venues or anyone THAT'S NOT YOUR HEALTHCARE PROVIDER. |

Places where the iX would have to fight for territory against the likes of Tesla and VW Group are the most important. A country like Norway won't make up for all of it's sales, or even any significant fraction of it. While I know the i3 did pretty well in EU, it was horrible in the States. Even if the car is 85k, it would cost less generally because it's BMW's stupid leasing. I am remaining skeptical purely because it's BMW and most of their sales are leases, not really selling the car outright. Not to mention like you and Minn know, BMW pushes hard to subsidize. Which generally means most of their cars are worth 50% less than it's price tag.

In any event, the CFRs are pretty clear and DHS has a nice plain language summary, e.g., Who Is Not Required to Follow These LawsIn short, if you don't have patients, or mess with the personally identifiable data of someone who has patients, you don't need to worry about HIPAA. As an example, anyone can download de-identified Medicare or bluebutton data ... or if someone sends you their medical record and you're not their doc or a "business associate" of their doc ... or if an airline or stadium asks you to prove you're vaccinated, HIPAA it doesn't apply. I get orgs are afraid of things, and sometimes it can be tricky who needs to be a BA and not (like, for example, a data center that's hosting medical device data which could somehow contain PHI) and so it's just easier to avoid any hint of possibility of PHI altogether ... Though I'd say anyone "in medical" (?) should invest in staff who actually read the CFRs, study industry best practices, and subscribe to the OCR listservs, etc so they can properly advise their businesses on where they need to invest and where they don't. |

Hey, so, true story: the boxers my wife buys me have started to get smaller and smaller ... and the ass slapping has really increased in volume lately ... I'm doing my part, but I gotta say I feel like I'm starting to be objectified.
It's probably the quarantine. It'll be fine. right? |

It could be ...
Maybe it's the tortillas. See I really like tortillas, tacos, nachos, etc but obvs eating lots of packaged chips ain't good for much except junk in the trunk so a long time ago we started buying Food for Life corn tortillas which are awesome and super clean ... however now you can't easily get those any more and they were a little rare in the first place. So I started making my own, which originally I thought would suck but turns out to be exceptionally easy if you have a few key things: 1.) This cast iron tortilla press for $30 - don't go cheap, get this one, you'll know it's the right one when the box arrives 2.) This Masa Harina which you can get at most grocery stores or just order a shitton online like we do then i just (1.) make the dough: dump in mh, add water, squish - takes 2 min take a rack out of the oven and set it next to you (2.) press the tortillas - takes another 2 min to press 10 of them (3.) put them directly on the rack as you press them in a single layer (4.) bake at 300 for 15 min until crisp - or less if you want them floppy You can put them over a taco shell mold for taco shells or press them smaller and put them over an upside-down mini-muffin pan to make scoop chips. The whole operation takes 20 min for fresh chips/tortillas/taco shells She thinks it's magic. |

Not that I am against it but it was never too filling for me. Could be eating the wrong ones... Hopefully when COVID subsides enough I feel safe to eat some with friends.

minn19 is your GTS 4.0 affected by the mass recall for engine connection rod issue?
P.S. I guess 190 cars isn't mass...

If it happens, at least this time I’ll be in a nice Porsche loaner instead of a base Fiesta/Focus when my GT350 was at the dealer for two months. |
