The pad spreader that I have doesn't really help. Its not possible to insert the pad while the spreader is pushing the pistons into the caliper. I need to email StopTech to see if they have hints as otherwise, changing pads is a major PITA with the anti knock back springs.

I think so - or we can continue to use the wide annulus rotor (so we can re-use the hat), but buy
narrorw/regular pads in the future. I'm not sure how much lighter the narrow rotor is comparing to the wide annulus ones though. |

Installed my front and rear Trophy setup last week, and did 1 bleed session with an old fashion 2 person push/hold, did a drive and bed in, and finished with a second bleed using the motul power bleeder.
The initial bleed left some air in the system, and the second really firmed up the pedal. Honestly I am super impressed with the initial bite and firm pedal feel on the sport pads! Anyone take their car to the track on the sport pads this kit comes with? |

My impression of the 309 pad was that it didn't bite as hard at very low speeds compared to the OEM setup, but it was better at higher speeds and had a more linear performance.

TBH, I am having a hard time acclimating to just how sensitive and immediate the bite is when beginning to depress pedal. Annoying on the street, but hopefully will be what I tend to ask of the car as I like to get deep into brake zones before braking. |
