will P305/45R18 tires fit on our cars with 18" wheels?

Have Apex EC-7 ET44 18" wheels on the way, and was wondering if P305/45R18 tires would fit?

I'm thinking no, but thought I'd double check. They unfortunately discontinued Mickey Thompson ET Street IIs, so now have to decide between ET Street Rs (which I want but are only available in 305/45R/18) or ET Street S/S, which are not as sticky at the dragstrip and are more focused on water evacuation.

Any knowledge appreciated!

Rim width is what is needed here. Are they 8" 11" etc?

IF they are 18x11" then yes it will fit, but the profile is too tall. 305's should be 35 series not 45.

The wheels are indeed 11" wide. Getting the wheels and M/T drag radial streets for the drag strip, so actually looking for a wide tire with tallest sidewall I can fit. That said, it looks like the 45 is indeed to tall and will not fit. So I ordered the 305/35R18. Seems to be the best I can do.

Thanks.
