Best tires for a 800whp daily?

Currently have the toyo r888r’s on and i do like them a lot and they grip very well once warmed up but trying to see if theres an other tires i can try out. The r888r are kind of noisy after 80mph, suck in the rain, and the thread life on these suck. Car is on stock 666m rims

Considering the nt555r2 or mt es street but never used these in the past

Car is daily and i do take it to the canyons from time to time

I wouldn't do Drag Radials if you go to the canyons from time to time. I just put on another set of these tires Friday. I'm in the same boat.

Cup2's are not going to save you with 800whp, spin city. Stock CS power can spin them all day. In the wet they are ok but don't hit standing puddles after heavy rain on HWY because you're going for a hydroplane ride. Ask me how I know lol.

Dang lol I've heard some people swear by them! Maybe I'll have to get the r888r's again. These things hook no problem once they're warmed up

I have a 325/30/19 so my choices were limited, why I went back to R888R. I just hate how loud they are, but they do work well.

As a track tire its pretty good once up to temp and air pressures are set. On the street warm them up before you go all out, or you'll be sitting sideways. Cup2's have a softer side wall than R888r and are light years away in terms of road noise vs R888.

Depends on what you're looking for in a tire, I've ran Cup2's on all my cars and like them once heated up.

Since you had the Cup 2's how did they hook on your car? and how much power was it pushing? I can't Image a 400WHP stock M4 spinning on cup 2's unless maybe its not warmed up

I mainly liked how Cup 2 was 180 treadwear compared to the 100 on the R888r
Thats almost double!

In stock power, the M4CS will spin the 285 series tires and kick it sideways at around 4500-5000rpm every time unless tires/pavement are hot, and you still get a tail dance. Tried to launch a few times for 0-60 runs and that was a waste of tires. You have to feather the throttle, it's the way the TQ comes in on stock map. The CS has 443 vs Comp 406 on TQ, may not sound like much but enough to kick it lol. Tuned the car is very different as the power delivery is linear and way smoother but depends on your tuner's philosophy.

I had 305 cup 2 on my M4 (stage 2 e30), brand new and warm they dead hooked from a 30. But they wore really fast, only got about 6k out of them. When they aren't super hot they will spin

I run NT555R2s (305) but I heard MT SS is better for higher HP cars.

These hook just fine on 600whp.

Expect to replace them every 2-3 months if you are dailying though lol

Thinking of trying the NT555R2s as well for a daily driver. How many miles is 2 to 3 months for you?

The tire will probably last 3000 miles.
