Seems like Chris Harris likes (or rather, loves) the sound and character of the engine in the M135i. Should be even better in the M3/M4

I mean that it´s so silly thing to bring engine sound on speakers(I am not agree it), even if it sounds real and comes the cars own engine. Btw. Who can image ten years ago that 2013 M-badged or M-car engine sound come to speakers, not induction?

I actually like the inline-6 noise. I loved it in E46 M3 and with a proper exhaust setup in N54. To me the inline-6 is not the issue. It is the turbo which can muffle the sound a bit.
However, BMW can work on tuning the acoustics to get them to be a bit more aggressive by some how over coming the turbo muffling the actual sound. Also, pump the real sound into the cabin none of this synthetic recorded garbage.
