Does anybody have a pic with spacers (15mm or 30mm) on the car?

15mm rear spring spacers. With spacers installed can be lowered another 10mm or raised at least another 25. So if i wanted I can create some daylight between the rear tire and fender.

Thank you! It's a custom Atlantis Autoflex high gloss wrap. Original paint is BSM.

I started this thread three years ago...

Anyhow, I really disliked the idea of spacers so purchased longer springs instead.

So, which springs did you end up going with? Are you happy with ride and height?

The spacers install between the bottom of the adjustable collar and the top of the rear spring. They're the same installation for any car so there are pics if you image search.

I don't see any issue with using them as they simply provide more length on the perch itself. There are clearly differences between the F80/2 as the same kit sits differently, and even some lowering springs provide a spacer for one model (MS) or use different spring rates (Swift).

I don't technically need mine at the height I'm at now so I could remove them and test the difference...that is if it didn't require dropping the rear lower control arm again.

Thanks for posting - beautiful ride! No way I can get away with that much drop but good to know there is 25mm in back with spacers. Here's my 4x4 OEM look. Looking at KW DDC.

Thanks for chiming in. I initially asked KW (US) about longer springs and they simply said that no such thing exists. I knew they were wrong but didn't care to fight them on it as KW spacers are readily available to solve this exact issue.

yea i asked justin at autotalent to help me sort this out and KW was against using longer springs, even though they have the 2cm longer spring on their website. I am not sure why a 2cm longer spring with the same spring rate is a problem in their eyes but a 15mm or 30mm spacer is ok. In the end it would appear to me to be the same thing.

OP - Funny you say that. I kinda want my rears to be slightly more lowered. Grass is greener on the other side of the fence? :

Hi, first post.

Purchased a M3 with quite a lot of mods recently one being KW DDC coilovers, the car is too low and rubbing so i decided to raise the front 20mm but realised at the back i cant, i would rather get the longer springs as mentioned above.

I short call to KW in the UK and the obviously knew about the spacers but not the 220mm spring, he said he would look in to it and get back to me.

Does anyone have a part number for the longer rear springs, would be a lot of help. On the call he also said changing the rear springs might not be the best way to raise up the rear as they are progressive, is this true?

The height looks fine to be honest. However you will be happy with the 15mm spring spacer. I have the 15mm spring spacer and it’s perfect! No issues or noises and give you a lot of room to go up in height.

Hi I don't have part number but I'm running longer rear springs on kw ddc and don't rub/tuck on 305/30/19 with 11" wheel ET40.

I am quite happy with the ride so far after maybe 500mi.

From UK and KW told me 120-220 would be absolutely fine to run on KW V3 with zero negative affects on handling or damping. You can order these springs directly from KW website. I believe they are the same rear spring as used on the HAS kit.

Bumping this because I have the same issue, with the rears spun all the way down its still very low and gives you absolutely no room to raise it up any higher than how it sits now. Shitty because I really wanted to lower it slightly more than what I had with MS springs but can't without getting a spacer. So my question is would it be better to buy the 15 or 30mm spacers for the rear?
