No sound coming from speakers F82 M4

So I am currently getting no audio for radio, media, chimes, nav etc. No codes are present. I checked all the fuses and #123 (Radio fuse) was burned out. I'm like ok simple replace fuse which is a 40amp. It pops everyone of them I install. Bad amp or sending unit I'm guessing? Any help or info would be great. The factory amp is $1500. Anyone have a used one or AM that would work?

Thanks!!

You need to determine if amp is bad or you have a short to ground.

Curious never had an issue like this. How could I check the amp? And steps to ground a short?

Off the top of my head, Unplug connections to amp and put in new fuse.

If it blows you have a short to ground in wiring somewhere along the path (unlikely unless you installed or did something that caused this).

If not, it would appear to be amp is the issue.

Atleast you would narrow it down.

Do you get NO WARNING TONE message when you turn on the car.

This message ONLY appears once and no where can find again. No fault code will stored

Btw, you have a 2015 car. It should be under warranty.

Why not simply take to Dealer?

If you get NO WARNING TONE message when you turn on the car, most likely you have bad AMP.

Good to know.
The amp is located on the driver side trunk correct? Under the plastic cover? What is the box in the middle trunk behind the rear seats sending unit?

Left rear.

A52*4B is the 2 pin wire you need to pull to disconnect power, not to be confused with the 2 pin A52*2B

Had this happen to me on my old e92 335i, ended up being a blown module and not the amp or speakers. BMW will charge you $250 to "diagnose" it. Will spend 5 minutes reinitiating your module with their coding module, and then will charge you 1.5 hours of labor. See if a local Indy shop can do it. If not, you may be SOL and have to cave like I did.

Try finding a short to ground in the KCAN wiring if you want to see a diagnostic charge, with the KCAN network running throughout the entire car.

So I unplugged everything installed new fuse. Hooked battery back up. Fuse did not blow untill I plugged in amp?

HK or HIFI?

Where are ordering from?

Make sure they have a return policy, just incase.

Lack of timely response going to cost you big time.
